Who is to blame for MI gas prices?
Gas prices are now averaging over $5/gal in Michigan for the first time ever.
REMINDER: Elissa Slotkin and Dan Kildee have each voted for various measures to reduce the supply of oil and drive up the cost of gas:
Slotkin and Kildee both voted for Build Back Better, which would “ban new oil and gas leasing off the East coast, West coast, and eastern Gulf of Mexico,” according to the League of Conservation Voters.
Slotkin and Kildee both voted for a 2019 measure “that effectively blocked oil and gas lease sales in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge,” according to the League of Conservation Voters.
Slotkin and Kildee both voted for a 2019 measure that “would establish a 10-mile buffer zone from oil and gas development around Chaco Culture National Historical Park,” according to the League of Conservation Voters.
