Nevada’s gas tax could increase thanks to Dina Titus

President Joe Biden is calling for a suspension of the federal gas tax, but Nevadans won’t see any relief if it is suspended.

Dina Titus voted for, and the Nevada Legislature passed, AB525 in 1997, which “automatically raises Nevada’s fuel tax by the exact amount of any reduction at the federal level,” according to The Nevada Independent.
