Rhode Islanders to see 50% increase in electric bills
July 22, 2022
The Providence Journal reports many “Rhode Island homes and businesses will see a nearly 50% increase in their monthly electric bills starting Oct. 1, with energy rates in the state climbing higher than ever before.”
NRCC Comment: “Rhode Island residents are already facing record-high gas costs and surging grocery bills, and now the cost of electricity is set to surge higher than ever before. Every RI-02 Democrat would be a rubber stamp for more of the same anti-energy policies that led to this crisis.” – NRCC Spokeswoman Samantha Bullock
