Rudy “no comment” Salas

Rudy Salas is working overtime trying to avoid the press. He did not respond to a request for comment from at least three different publications this week. 

• The San Joaquin Valley Sun (reasonably) wanted clarification on how long into pregnancy Salas supports abortion. No response from Salas. 

• Lawmakers in California are calling for a state audit of the California Department of Justice after a data leak exposed the personal information of Concealed Carry Weapon permit holders, but Salas must sign off on the audit first. Salas did not respond to a request for comment from Cal Matters or The Center Square about if he would okay the audit. 

And, in case you missed it, Salas has missed more than 430 votes during his time in the California State Assembly.
