Kansas families worried about buying school supplies
July 27, 2022
Back-to-school shopping is way more stressful for Kansas families this year!
A new back-to-school survey by Junior Achievement of America shows:
- 37% of teens expressed that they will not be able to get all the items they need for school.
- 34% said they’ll rely on teachers, community donations or other resources to get supplies.
While life is hard enough for teenagers, Sharice Davids’ inflation crisis is an additional burden for families and students.
NRCC Comment: “This survey is another example of how Sharice Davids’ inflation crisis is making life worse for Kansas families.” — NRCC Spokeswoman Maggie Abboud
