Fox News: Vulnerable Dem Rep. Houlahan touts PPP that helped husband’s business, says inflation could be worse

Chrissy Houlahan said the worst inflation in 40 years would be worse today without the Paycheck Protection Program that benefited her family and the American Rescue Plan that stoked inflation, Fox News reports.

Houlahan’s husband received $2.8 million in PPP loans for his nonprofit organization, both of which were eventually forgiven.

And many economists argue the $1.9 trillion bill overstimulated the economy and sparked the inflation crisis.
