Back-to-school inflation hurts VA-02

WTKR reports inflation is impacting back-to-school shopping. 

One parent remarks, “We try to shop in advance…you definitely see an increase from the little things…try to keep that money to the side, do little things here and there just to stay ahead.”

A recent study from Deloitte found inflation is driving spending per student up by as much as 8% this year.
