Cuellar to vote for IRS army
Congressman Henry Cuellar today announced his support of Democrats’ so-called “Inflation Reduction Act” which experts say will do nothing to reduce inflation, raises taxes on the middle class, gives wealthy families a $7,500 tax break to buy “luxury” electric cars, and hires an army of IRS agents to audit Texans.
There is also a methane fee in the bill which Cuellar previously said would “increase gas prices and hurt job opportunities.”
Recent polling found the bill incredibly unpopular among Cuellar’s constituents, and a new report shows the bill will benefit Cuellar’s IRS union donors.
NRCC COMMENT: “Henry Cuellar knows this bill will hurt his constituents, but he’s kowtowing to the Democrat party and voting for it anyway. This proves Cuellar stands with his liberal cronies in D.C., not with South Texans.” – NRCC Spokeswoman Torunn Sinclair
