Vasquez tries to run from his radical record
Gabe Vasquez is trying to run away from his radical positions that would stifle American energy production and eliminate good-paying jobs.
He told the Carlsbad Current-Argus in a recent interview he believes a “balance could be struck between oil and gas’ economic benefit to the state and government controls on its environmental impact.”
But Vasquez is already on record stating he supports President Biden’s decision to cancel the Keystone XL Pipeline, and indefinitely pause oil and gas leases on public land, which could kill 62,000 New Mexico jobs.
