NBC Poll: GOP Gains on Generic Ballot

A new NBC poll found Republicans have gained two points on the generic ballot since May and now lead 47%-45%.

Joe Biden is thirteen points underwater (42% approve – 55% disapprove) and Republicans maintain an enthusiasm advantage.

– 74% of voters think the country is headed in the wrong direction.

– 58% say America’s best days are behind it.

– 68% think the U.S. is in a recession.
