CBS Poll: Dems still Doomed

Yesterday’s CBS poll is a real reality check to Democrats hoping to keep the House.  

Republicans lead by 2 on the generic ballot (47%-45%).  

Voters say the economy (81%) and inflation (76%) are still the top two issues that will be “very important” in their vote for Congress this year.  

72% of voters say things are going badly in America right now and 75% of voters say their vote for Congress will be heavily based on the way things are in the country.   

Joe Biden is 10-points underwater (45% approve – 55% disapprove) and more than half of voters (51%) say they will heavily base their vote on how they feel about Joe Biden.
