As violent crime rises, CA Dems fund the IRS
August 29, 2022
It’s not just inflation that’s high in California – homicides and violent crime are on the rise too.
According to the Department of Justice:
- There were 2,361 homicides in the California last year, surpassing 2020’s figure by more than 150 deaths
- California’s violent crime rate increased from 437 per 100,000 people in 2020 to 466.2 per 100,000 in 2021
- The property crime rate ticked up 3% in 2021
And what are Josh Harder, Julia Brownley, Katie Porter and Mike Levin doing about it?
They’re giving the IRS $80 billion to audit middle-class Californians instead of funding the police.
