Inflation, border, not top priorities for Kirsten Engel

Kirsten Engel failed to mention inflation or border security when asked by the Arizona Daily Star today about the top issues facing Arizona’s sixth congressional district. 

Recent polling shows inflation and border security are the most important issues to Arizona voters.

Engel is running to represent a border district, which has had a record number of migrant encounters since President Biden took office. 

Engel also supports:

• The so-called “Inflation Reduction Act,” which experts say will do nothing to reduce inflation
• Biden’s American Rescue Plan, which economists say “stoked” inflation
