Opioid epidemic sweeps across Kansas City

The Kansas City Star Editorial Board highlighted the urgency of the opioid epidemic that is sweeping through the Kansas City area.
The CDC announced in 2021, that over two-thirds of drug overdoses involved illegal fentanyl use, labeling the rise in fentanyl deaths a national epidemic.
Fentanyl has been pouring over the southern border for months, but Sharice Davids has voted against securing the border and stopping the flow of fentanyl into the country (see here, here and here).
Will Sharice Davids reverse course and get serious about securing our southern border?
