Marie Gluesenkamp Perez to blame for car theft epidemic: stats
March 28, 2023
As a car theft epidemic sweeps the region, Marie Gluesenkamp Perez remains asleep at the wheel.
- The Portland-Vancouver-Hillsboro metropolitan area just ranked fifth worst in the U.S. for car theft (FOX 12)
- Neighboring Portland broke an all-time record for car theft last year (KGW)
- Statewide, Washington surged to the third-highest car theft rate in the U.S. (KIRO7)
The crime wave is a direct result of Gluesenkamp Perez’s Democrat allies defunding the police: “Portland’s police force has been gutted” while the Washington State Patrol pulled officers from a car theft task force due to “limited resources.”
“Car theft victims can blame Marie Gluesenkamp Perez, who refuses to stop the crime and chaos surging in Washington.” – NRCC Spokesperson Ben Petersen
