Sharice Davids must reject foreign money benefitting her campaign

Sharice Davids says she opposes dark money, but she received support from foreign billionaire Hansjörg Wyss laundered through an opaque web of dark money vehicles.

AP reported today on how Wyss’ foreign dark money network, which paid for TV ads benefitting Davids, skirts the ban on foreign money in campaigns.

Davids said “Kansans trusted me to stop the influence of big money in our democracy and to end the culture of corruption in Washington.” Yet, Davids benefitted from Wyss’ foreign influence. 

“Sharice Davids is a liar and a hypocrite bankrolled by a foreign billionaire’s dark money conspiracy. Davids must reject the foreign dark money used to prop up her political campaign or be complicit in this perversion of the law.” – NRCC Spokeswoman Delanie Bomar
