Gabe Vasquez wants to “transition” away from energy jobs
There are more than 115,000 jobs in the New Mexico oil and gas industry, but extreme Gabe Vasquez just said he wants to “transition” away from these energy jobs.
The state’s energy industry single-handedly gives billions to New Mexico’s public schools, which means cutting the energy sector not only kills energy jobs but could put public education funding at risk.
Last month, Vasquez voted against legislation to produce more clean, reliable and affordable energy in America. Taking it a step further, Vasquez has called to end oil and gas “immediately” and to “shut it all down.”
