Democrats’ No Good, Very Bad NY Week

Earlier this week, the DCCC and House Majority PAC really thought they did something. 

They labeled centrist Rep. Mike Lawler (NY-17) as a “far-right extremist” ahead of Biden’s trip to the Hudson Valley. 

They spent money spreading lies about Lawler and other New York GOP member’s commitment to preserving Social Security and Medicare. 

And then, they got smacked in the face by reality. 

On President Biden’s trip, he rightfully called Lawler “…not one of these MAGA Republicans” (hey, a broken clock is right twice a day), completely undercutting the DCCC’s downright false and incoherent messaging. 

Then, The New York Times called out House Majority PAC for falsely accusing him of of trying to force cuts to Medicare and Social Security.
