What’s next for Jeffries? Spitting on 🇺🇸?
Respecting the American flag and abiding by our country’s flag code is just “petty performance politics,” according to House Democrat Leader Hakeem Jeffries.
Asked about a bill aimed at preventing government buildings from flying any flag other than the American flag after the White House violated U.S. flag codeby displaying the pride flag more prominently than old glory, Jeffries said:
“Extreme MAGA Republicans continue to engage in petty performance politics. They are not serious about addressing the issues that are of importance to the American people.” — Hakeem Jeffries
Maybe Jeffries should chat with some U.S. war veterans and see if they agree that respecting the flag is “performance politics.”
