New York City Democrats are looking at instituting mandates on coal, wood-fired pizza ovens in the name of “environmentalism.”

This new mandate would cost the restaurants $20,000 in new appliances and even more in upkeep.

Democrats have already banned gas stoves in the Empire State, and now they’re even feeling heat in their own primaries for being too radical.

“Extreme Democrats’ pie-in-the-sky policies will cost New Yorkers more dough, but cheesy catch phrases can’t hide the sausage-making taking a slice out of family budgets. There is no part of New Yorkers’ lives that extreme Democrats don’t want to control.” – NRCC Spokeswoman Savannah Viar
