NRCC Statement on Curtis Hertel

After crafting the most expensive budget in Michigan history behind closed doors, Curtis Hertel has his eyes set on continuing his family’s tradition of collecting government paychecks.

Here’s why Michigan voters shouldn’t trust him: Just last year, Hertel voted to give over $175 million in Michigan taxpayer money to a Beijing-based company that’s under the control of the Chinese Communist Party.

The CCP battery plant backed by Hertel would create major national security risks as it is in close proximity to a U.S. National Guard base.
