ICYMI: New Jersey Democrats Have a Progressive Problem

In case you missed it…yesterday, Axios reported on the Democrats’ progressive problem. 

In crucial target seat New Jersey’s seventh congressional district, extreme progressive Sue Altman is giving establishment Democrats heartburn. 

“Sue Altman, the leader of the progressive Working Families Party in New Jersey, was the first Democrat to enter the race…Democrats privately worry that her profile — she led protests against neighboring Rep. Josh Gottheimer (D-N.J.) for his moderate record — makes it harder for them to win the seat…”

This isn’t the first time Sue Altman’s progressive record is getting noticed, and for all the wrong reasons. Last week, Jewish Insiderwrote about Altman’s ties to anti-Israel groups, all while she is running in a district with a large Jewish population. 

One thing is for sure, Sue Altman is going to cause a messy Democrat primary that will ultimately be a race to the Left.
