KC murder rate skyrockets in 2023

The murder rate in Kansas City is at 21.4%, which is up 5% from this time last year and the latest example of how violent crime is skyrocketing in and around Sharice Davids’ district.

Sharice Davids has embraced a number of anti-law enforcement policies:
 

• She voted against the POLICE Act, a bill to mandate deportation for any non-citizen guilty of assaulting a police officer or first responder.
   
• She also voted against condemning policies that effectively gave more power to anti-police activists.
