Ahead of Gabe Vasquez’s re-election announcement today, please consider the following statement from the National Republican Congressional Committee:

• The NRCC is targeting Vasquez for his calls to defund the police and to shut down the New Mexico energy industry.
• Vasquez has tried to hide his activist past by deleting his old tweets.
• Vasquez won by 0.7% in 2022, making it one of the closest races in the nation.
