NRCC Blasts Democrats For Silence After Violent Pro-Hamas Riot
That sound you hear? Crickets.
It’s been twelve hours since a violent pro-Hamas riot outside of Democratic party headquarters injured six Capitol Police officers, and Democratic leadership hasn’t said a word. Here’s what we know:
- Democratic leaders Hakeem Jeffries, Katherine Clark, Pete Aguilar, and DCCC Chair Suzan DelBene were inside the building.
- Multiple other unnamed Democratic Members of Congress and candidates were in attendance.
- The event was a DCCC candidate week reception featuring Democrats’ favored recruits.
- Not one member of Democratic leadership has spoken out to condemn the violence or thank Capitol Police for their bravery – including Hakeem Jeffries ignoring the riot on Squawk Box this morning.
Who were the other candidates and Members of Congress at the event?
Why haven’t they spoken out to condemn the violent riot?
“Sometimes saying nothing says everything. Multiple officers injured in the line of duty and Democrats can’t even offer a simple thank you – let alone condemn the antisemitic riot. The glaring truth is, these pro-Hamas rioters represent Democrats’ base of support and they are terrified to offend them.” -NRCC Communications Director Jack Pandol
