“Violent crime, homicides surge in Washington”

December 7, 2023

Violent crime surged 26 percent in Washington over the last decade.

MyNorthwest reports: “Of grave concern is the surge in homicides between 2019 and 2022, escalating by a staggering 89%.

A spokesperson for the King County prosecutor’s office said, “Having 400 fewer officers in Seattle, that’s part of it.

“It is no coincidence that violent crime surged after extreme Democrats embraced the defund the police, soft-on-crime ideology. Kim Schrier is an enabler of the extreme liberal policies fueling this crime wave.” – NRCC Spokesperson Ben Petersen
