The Ever Clarifying Suozzi

Tom Suozzi said “I want to be an honorary member of the Squad.” 

And now he’s trying to clarify what he meant. 

But no amount of clarification can undo the fact that in May 2021, Suozzi voted against a motion to provide at least $73 million towards Israel’s Iron Dome defense program. At the time, there were ongoing attacks from organizations like Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad.  

Suozzi can claim to be on the side of Israel but if that were the case then why did he vote against $73 million going towards Israel’s Iron Dome?
