Suozzi’s Real Immigration Record

In 2022, Suozzi signed a letter, alongside Squad member Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, urging Biden to “reverse Title 42, a measure put in place during the pandemic that allowed border patrol agents to send migrants seeking asylum back to their home countries or to Mexico.”

Suozzi’s record on immigration is abysmal: 

• He repeatedly voted in favor of funding for sanctuary cities
• Voted against a motion that would have notified ICE when an illegal immigrant attempted to purchase a firearm
• Declared: “I’m totally aligned with Mayor Adams’ position. I endorsed Mayor Adams early on; he asked me to be his deputy mayor.”
