WASHINGTON – The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) released the following statement on Virginia’s 2nd congressional district Democrat primary election:

• In her first year of Congress, Congresswoman Kiggans returned more than $1.5 million to Southeast Virginians, brought in nearly $14 million in funding for community projects, had 2 bills passed by the House, introduced 12 bills and cosponsored 138 bills.
• As a former Navy helicopter pilot, Navy spouse, and Navy Mom, Congresswoman Kiggans is a tireless advocate for the military community in Congress, using her position to introduce a bipartisan bill to support service member mental health and fight for better mental health care for service members.
