NEW POLL: Hispanic voters trust Republicans on immigration

A new poll released this morning reveals the advantage Republicans like Yvette Herrell hold over Democrats like Gabe Vasquez on immigration.

In NM-02, where 60% of voters are Hispanic and where the border crisis ranks as a top issue for voters, this news should have Vasquez shaking in his boots. 

Vasquez has consistently voted against immigration policies — He voted against the Secure the Border Act, said the border crisis is a “non-existent threat” and called efforts to secure the border “ill-informed” and “in bad taste.”
