NRCC Statement on KS-02 Primary Election

The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) released the following statement on Kansas’ 2nd congressional district primary election:

“Congratulations to Derek Schmidt on his primary election victory. Derek’s time as a state senator and Kansas Attorney General has prepared him well to fight for a secure border and to lower inflation. We have no doubt Kansans will send Derek to Congress in November.”– NRCC Spokeswoman Delanie Bomar 

KS-02 has a PVI of R+11 and is considered a “Solid Republican” seat.
