Three prominent House Democrats with massive local brands and impressive fundraising prowess retired.

It cleared the way for Republicans to flip their seats and grow the House majority, according to Inside Elections’  just released rating changes:

• MI-08: Tilt D ——> TOSS-UP
• VA-07: Tilt D ——> TOSS-UP
• MI-07: TOSS-UP

NRCC National Press Secretary Will Reinert said: “When Democrats’ strongest swing-district incumbents retired, we recruited an even stronger class of candidates to flip these seats back into Republicans’ control. But don’t take our word for it — we’ll allow the nonpartisan political handicappers to do the talking.”
