NRCC Announces First TV Ad In CA-22

October 1, 2024

WASHINGTON – The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) today released the first TV ad in California’s 22nd Congressional district.

The ad holds deadbeat Sacramento politician Rudy Salas accountable for skipping more than 400 votes while collecting over a million dollars of taxpayer pay. In addition, when self-serving Salas did bother to show up to work, he raised taxes on farmers.

The spending comes as part of the NRCC’s previously-announced advertising reservation, which included a significant investment in the Valley. The ad will run in English and Spanish.

SCRIPT:
Rudy Salas. What does that guy know about hard work?
In the Assembly, he missed over 400 votes
Didn’t show up for work, and still got paid $120,000
That’s BS
We wouldn’t get paid. He shouldn’t either
Those are our tax dollars
He didn’t do his job
And when he did show up, he raised taxes on farmers
Now he wants to go to Congress?
He didn’t show up in Sacramento; he’s not gonna show up in D.C.
