Does Chris Pappas not care about Granite Staters at all?
Radical Democrats are pushing are pushing for a government shutdown, and out-of-touch Chris Pappas is hiding. Will he join his Democrat cronies and callously put politics over people, or will he put Granite Staters first?
If Pappas chooses to put politics first, here’s how his vote will hurt Granite Staters – the very people he purports to help:
- Granite Staters’ safety may be threatened as law enforcement officers, members of the military, and TSA workers might not get paid.
- There are 105,390 veterans in the state that will lose out on critical programs – including employment assistance programs.
- The 10,887 federal workers in Pappas’ district may have to work WITHOUT getting paid.
- NH-01’s 2,329 farmers may not have access to financial assistance – including disaster relief.
- Millions in loan financing for New Hampshire’s 142,626 small businesses will be jeopardized.
- Funding for the Head Start program – which 1,135 children in New Hampshire rely on – may be cut off.
“Shutting down the government will have disastrous – and potentially dangerous – consequences on every single Granite Stater, but all Chris Pappas is worried about is scoring political points. It’s almost hard to believe, but that’s exactly how out-of-touch Pappas and his party really is.” – NRCC Spokeswoman Maureen O’Toole
