How out of touch is Chris Pappas?
In case you forgot, extreme Democrat Chris Pappas voted to shut down the government—choosing politics over Granite Staters! He turned his back on the very people he claims to fight for, putting partisan games ahead of their livelihood.
- Granite Staters’ safety may be threatened as law enforcement officers, members of the military, and TSA workers might not get paid.
- There are 105,390 veterans in the state that will lose out on critical programs – including employment assistance programs.
- The 10,887 federal workers in Pappas’ district may have to work WITHOUT getting paid.
- NH-01’s 2,329 farmers may not have access to financial assistance – including disaster relief.
- Millions in loan financing for New Hampshire’s 142,626 small businesses will be jeopardized.
- Funding for the Head Start program – which 1,135 children in New Hampshire rely on – may be cut off.
This week the NRCC launched a digital ad targeting Chris Pappas for voting to shut down the government:

“Out-of-touch Chris Pappas proved he doesn’t care about his constituents—voting to shut down the government. Granite Staters deserve a leader who fights for them, not a self-serving politician more focused on stunts than solutions.” – NRCC Spokeswoman Maureen O’Toole
