Tom Kean Puts New Jersey First While Dems Prioritize a Dangerous Shutdown

Tom Kean, Jr. voted to keep the government open, and now, he’s vowed to forgo his congressional salary if Democrats shut down the government, because for Kean, it’s about putting New Jersey first, not politics.

If Democrats get their way, New Jersey families’ safety will be threatened as law enforcement officers, members of the military, and TSA workers may be forced to work without pay, veterans may lose access to critical programs, and Head Start funding may be endangered for thousands of kids across the state.
