Don Davis Can’t Explain Why He Voted to Shut Down the Government

Out of touch Don Davis supports a government shutdown, which jeopardizes critical hurricane relief for North Carolina communities. When asked about his vote to cut off communities in his state from federal assistance, Davis had this to say:

“There are specific, clear proposals and conversations that I believe are important for us to… to have, but we have to have everybody sitting at the table in a real way.”

What in the world does that mean? Davis’ word salad is a clear indicator he has no way to explain his harmful decision.
