Democrat Jim Costa turned his back on America’s heroes. 

By voting to shut down the government, out of touch Democrat Jim Costa risked California’s 18,929 veterans access to critical programs they earned, from employment assistance to health care and support services. Veterans who fought for this country are being forced to fight Washington bureaucracy because Costa chose politics over people.
