Long Island small businesses pay the price for Suozzi & Gillen’s politics

Main Street is feeling the squeeze. Out of touch Democrats Tom Suozzi and Laura Gillen’s shutdown is choking cash flow for small businesses, freezing SBA loan approvals, stalling federal payments and contracts, and delaying permits and certifications that keep projects moving. The result: paused hires, missed orders, and tighter margins for the local employers New Yorkers count on.
