Suozzi and Gillen’s shutdown leaves Long Island taxpayers stranded

Thanks to Tom Suozzi and Laura Gillen’s vote to shut down the government, constituents are having an even harder time tracking down much needed government services. Taxpayers are left scrambling as they try to get any form of communication about Social Security, Medicare or even Veterans’ benefits.
