NRCC Introduces “MAGA Majority” to Expand House GOP Majority in 2026

March 17, 2026

The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) has launched the initial list of strong Republican candidates in the “MAGA Majority,” the NRCC program focused on supporting and elevating the next wave of America First candidates who will help expand the Republican House majority in 2026.

“House Republicans are on offense, and the MAGA Majority is the next wave of leaders who will help us expand our majority in 2026. From veterans and job creators to proven conservative fighters and local leaders, these candidates are stepping up to secure the border, lower costs, and deliver on President Trump’s America First agenda. The NRCC is proud to support them as we go on offense and grow our majority in 2026.” – NRCC Chairman Richard Hudson

The initial list of MAGA Majority candidates includes:

  • Jay Feely (AZ-01)
  • Kevin Lincoln (CA-13)
  • Joe Mitchell (IA-02)
  • Paul LePage (ME-02)
  • Laurie Buckhout (NC-01)
  • Mike LiPetri (NY-03)
  • Peter Oberacker (NY-19)
  • Tano Tijerina (TX-28)
  • Eric Flores (TX-34)

Background:

  • The MAGA Majority program highlights a slate of strong candidates running in key battleground districts across the country who embody the Trump agenda: securing the border, lowering costs, restoring energy dominance, and putting American workers first.
  • The NRCC will provide MAGA Majority candidates with early support, strategic resources, and visibility as Republicans expand the map and go on offense in districts where Democrats are vulnerable.
  • With over a dozen Democrats currently sitting in Trump-won seats, the battlefield is already favorable for Republicans, and the MAGA Majority is designed to capitalize on that opportunity.
  • MAGA Majority is the new name for the NRCC’s long-time Young Guns program.
