As Tax Day approaches, I want to remind everyone in our community to make sure your returns are filed on time and that you’re taking full advantage of the increased relief available to you this year. Whether you filed early or are finishing up now, double-check your information, claim the credits you’ve earned, and don’t leave money on the table.

The Working Families Tax Cuts Act provides tax relief for hardworking Americans, with the average taxpayer expected to see nearly $4,000 in total tax savings in 2026. Key provisions of the bill include No Tax on Tips, No Tax on Overtime, No Tax on Social Security, a $2,200 Child Tax Credit, a $6,000 tax break for seniors, $1,000 Trump Accounts for newborns, the Charity Donation Credit, the 199a Small Business deduction, and much more. Putting more money back in the pockets of families, workers, and seniors.

These policies are about more than just numbers on a tax return—they’re about putting real money back into the pockets of workers, families, and seniors. That means more flexibility to pay bills, save for the future, and provide for yourself and your family.

This tax season, we’re seeing what real tax relief looks like.

If you haven’t filed yet, now is the time, taxes are due by April 15th.
