Hakeem Jeffries Delusional While South Texas Turns On Cuellar And Gonzalez

So-called “Leader” Hakeem Jeffries has clearly had a rough couple of weeks, because he’s acting completely delusional and flat-out lying to Texas voters as self-serving Henry Cuellar and out of touch Vicente Gonzalez get outraised, fall behind in the polls, and head toward rejection by Texans.

Jeffries just claimed Republicans “aren’t defeating Vicente Gonzalez… and aren’t even contesting Cuellar seat.” 

New polling shows Republican Eric Flores leading out of touch Vicente Gonzalez in TX-34 after outraising him in the first quarter of 2026.

In TX-28, Judge Tano Tijerina outraised self-serving career politician Henry Cuellar in the first quarter of 2026, posting the strongest first-quarter fundraising performance of any Republican challenger in Cuellar’s career.
