Miller-Meeks Stands Up for Veterans

This week, Mariannette Miller-Meeks, a 24-year Army veteran, passed the Fisher House Availability Act to reverse unnecessary red tape on veterans and their families. 

The Fisher House Availability Act reverses a Biden-era rule that blocks military families from staying in Department of Veterans Affairs housing while their loved ones receive non-VA care, making it harder for them to support military members receiving care. This critical legislation supports the military member and their families who sacrifice so much.
