Republicans Deliver 60-Year Low in Drug Prices
Thanks to President Trump and House Republicans, prescription drug prices just posted their steepest annual decline since 1963, down 3.1 percent over the past year.
President Trump’s drug pricing agreements and the new TrumpRX platform pushed discount generics and GLP-1 drugs into the market, and prices moved. Seven straight months of declines now, the longest uninterrupted stretch of falling drug prices in the 80-year history of the CPI category.
Democrats promised this for years. Republicans actually did it.

“Democrats spent years promising to lower drug prices and never got it done. Republicans did it in less than two years. Prescription drug prices just posted their biggest drop in 60 years, and voters will know exactly who delivered and who stood in the way.” – NRCC Spokesman Mike Marinella
