Michigan Democrats Must Condemn Hasan Piker, Not Campaign with His BFF Abdul El-Sayed

August 25, 2026

Democrat Hillary Scholten posted on social media that Hasan Piker is “hurting the chances of a Democratic majority in November.” Reporting highlighted that “she won’t put her name on campaign literature with El-Sayed, doesn’t want to be part of the unified campaign and won’t contribute to its cost” due to his ties with Hasan Piker.

Vulnerable Michigan Democrats and Democrat candidates such as William Lawrence, Christina Hines, Sean McCann, and Kristen McDonald Rivet have either remained silent or fully wrapped their arms around Abdul El-Sayed and his bff Hasan Piker.

Socialistfelon William Lawrence went as far as to rally with Abdul El-Sayed and was caught on camera praising Hasan Piker.

Michigan Democrats William Lawrence, Christina Hines, Sean McCann, and Kristen McDonald Rivet must be asked:

Will you campaign with Abdul El-Sayed?
WIll you put your name on campaign literature with Abdul El-Sayed?
Will you call on Abdul El-Sayed to cut ties with Hasan Piker and disavow his words?
