WASHINGTON, D.C. — The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) released a new video highlighting common sense leader Jay Feely’s focus on lowering the cost of living for folks in the Valley, cutting taxes and addressing out of control government spending.

I’m Jay Feely, running for Arizona’s first congressional district. […] Played in the NFL for 14 years and then was a broadcaster for CBS the last ten years and decided to leave broadcasting to run for office.

I think we need more people in office who truly want to be that civil servant, who don’t need the job, aren’t going there to enrich themselves.

We have four kids. We have four grandkids now, and we love Arizona. When my NFL career was over, we decided to raise our family there and just love that area, poured into that area, started our foundation there and try to really effectuate change and help people.

The most important thing to me certainly is the economy and affordability. We need to make sure that we are driving down costs for the younger generation so that they can have a family, grow their family and have confidence in their economic security going forward.
