Pat Harrigan, a North Carolina husband, father, business owner and combat veteran, is running for the Republican nomination in North Carolina’s 14th Congressional District.

“I’m running for Congress because I love my country and I’m concerned for my country,” Harrigan says. “The values that I put my life on the line to defend are not being well-represented by DC politicians. It’s time for honest conversations and conservative checks on liberal overreach. I look forward to bringing that type of leadership to DC for Mecklenburg and Gaston counties.”

Harrigan, 34, is a married father of two young children. He owns a North Carolina-based firearms manufacturing company that employs more than sixty people. He graduated from West Point with a degree in nuclear engineering and served two combat tours in Afghanistan, earning two Bronze Stars as a Detachment Commander in the Green Berets.
